Gym Payment Software · New Zealand

Stop chasing gym payments. Automate them.

Latch collects recurring membership fees automatically via Stripe. Failed payments are retried. Members who don't pay lose door access. You never have to send a single invoice or chase a single payment.

How Latch payment automation works

01

Member signs up

You share your invite link. Members sign up, enter their card details, and are charged immediately.

02

Monthly billing

Stripe charges the card on the same day each month. The money lands in your bank account within 2 business days.

03

Failed payments

If a card fails, Stripe retries automatically. You're notified. The member's access continues during the retry window.

04

Access revoked

If retries are exhausted, door access is revoked automatically. The member gets an email. No conversation needed.

Everything you need for gym billing

Stripe-powered payments

Industry-standard card processing. Members pay via Stripe Checkout. Funds land directly in your connected bank account — we never hold your money.

Automatic recurring billing

Set your monthly membership price once. Stripe handles billing every month. No manual invoicing, no payment reminders to send.

Live MRR dashboard

See your monthly recurring revenue in real time. Know exactly how much is coming in this month without opening a spreadsheet.

Access tied to payment

Door access is automatically granted when a member pays and revoked when they don't. No manual syncing between your payment system and your door.

NZD pricing

You charge members in NZD. We charge you in NZD. No exchange rate exposure, no USD conversion surprises on your software bill.

You set the price

Charge whatever the market will bear. $50/month, $200/month — it's your gym. Existing members keep their rate when you update pricing.

Why Latch uses card payments, not direct debit

Many NZ gym owners use direct debit providers like Debitsuccess, ezidebit, or Hnry for payment collection. Direct debit has advantages — high success rates, bank account deduction — but it also has limitations for small gyms.

Direct debit requires members to complete an authority form and there's typically a 2–5 business day delay before the first payment clears. Card payments via Stripe are instant, require no paperwork, and work internationally.

More importantly: Stripe integrates directly with Latch's door access system. Direct debit providers don't have an API that lets us automatically revoke door access on failed payments — so you'd still need to manage that manually.
